Children’s Property and Social Responsibilities

At Sowma Public School, we emphasize the importance of respect—for oneself, for others, and for shared spaces. Instilling a sense of responsibility, discipline, and empathy is a vital part of our educational philosophy.

Children’s Personal Property: Guidelines

To avoid loss, damage, or distractions in the school environment, students and parents must take note of the following:

Prohibited Items

Students are not allowed to bring the following items to school under any circumstances:

  • Mobile phones, smart watches, cameras
  • Expensive stationery or gadgets
  • Fancy pencil boxes, toys, or electronic items

Confiscation Policy

Any prohibited item found in a student's possession will be confiscated immediately and may not be returned. Repeated violations may lead to disciplinary action.

Accountability

Students are expected to take personal responsibility for their belongings. The school is not liable for any loss or damage to items brought from home.

Labeling

All personal items, including notebooks, water bottles, lunch boxes, and uniforms, should be properly labeled with the student’s name, class, and section.
